Liberation Day

At Knobula we like to celebrate. And if the US president wants a Liberation day then that’s fine by us, of course we’re assuming he’s referring to the Moog Liberation keytar which was, like our Echo Cinematic, proudly made in the USA. ‘But wait’ I hear you say, ‘isn’t Knobula a British company?’ Yes indeed we jolly well are old chap and we also make modules in Portsmouth, England with parts sourced from all over the world, our panels come from the Netherlands made from the finest Canadian aluminum, and with chips from both Texas and Taiwan, packaging from Italy and pcbs from China. All that variety makes me proud because the lovely people who use our modules also come from all four corners of the globe. We source according to quality, reliability and proximity where possible so adding trade tariffs isn’t going to change the way we spread our modular love around the world, but an all out trade war just might. But when it comes to costs and competitiveness, if only there was a way I could pay my landlord less business rent, now that would be worth celebrating.
