I'm experiencing an issue with the R output of my module. In the R out goes with a noisy signal, like distorted noise, the R output maxes out at -36 dB, while the L output behaves normally and sounds as expected. I attempted a factory reset, but according to the manual, the trigger button should blink twice; in my case, it only blinks once, which makes me doubt the reset was successful. What could be causing this problem, and more importantly, how can I resolve it?
Thanks
The issue still persists. Somethimes it gets okay - bpth channels works fine and somethimes the right one getss noisy and go at really low levels. This look like cold joint or something like that. Assuming that maybe will need soldering and additional measurements and it can be performed by you in UK. For now i will use in only in L (as mono)
Sorry to hear about your issue. Later firmware doesn’t blink on reset. Besides this won’t fix the problem of a noisy channel. I have not come across this problem before with Poly Cinematic, It is almost definitely hardware related. The easiest fix is to swap the Daisy board but since the problem is only on one channel this might be a fried op amp on the main pcb - more expensive fix. Try reseating the Daisy board but if the problem persists or gets worse it will need to be returned.
